Versions and release status

Public release 0.2.2 ยท Minecraft 26.3 / Fabric. Release boundaries.

This mirror documents Clockwork Bosses 0.2.2, the public release for Minecraft 26.3 on Fabric. The mod and hosted Workshop have separate version numbers. A website update does not install or restart a Minecraft jar.

Stable 0.2.2: shared encounter music

The release is based on 0.2.1 and adds shared encounter music, two bundled OGG tracks and source/file controls. Its source is the release/0.2.2 commit. Use clockwork_bosses-0.2.2.jar on the server and on clients that need the editor, custom skins, glow or audio. Restart after replacing jars.

Missing or null music.source keeps template-local music. Choosing Library stores a shared reference; neither bundled song is selected automatically. See Sounds and music.

Production Workshop

The recorded stable Workshop 0.2.4 publication supports core 0.2.0, 0.2.1 and 0.2.2. Shared music management additionally requires a signed-in 0.2.2 server advertising that capability. Check the live site's build-info.json and the server's status before connected editing. The wiki mirror doesn't expand the builder's server compatibility or change its authentication and relay.

Release boundaries

0.2.2 retains 0.2.1 gameplay, including pupils, burrow visibility cleanup, full native emergence timing and saved-box arena membership. It doesn't add later targeting deadlines, expression rules, encounter PvP protection, Better Combat potion placement, template-update commands or beta channel routing. The Moves library, attack wizard, tracking-fireball tutorial, imported boss models, custom animations and portable projects belong to later development versions.

The addon API is experimental revision 1 even in a stable release. Build and test an addon against the exact core it will run with. An old example or a successful compile doesn't establish 0.2.2 gameplay acceptance.

Boss Observatory is a separate development tool. Installing the stable core does not install it or add its testing commands.

Reading the evidence

Compatibility and testing records the music backport and inherited release checks. These historical results do not establish physical listening, Windows GPU presentation, real remote multiplayer, full-modpack behavior or a hosted real-owner session. Use the playtest checklist for your encounter.
